As the sessions for "I Came To Serve Him" came to an end, a few tracks that Antoine' and Wayne composed remained. Antoine' decided that a follow up would be a good idea due to the fact that it was so long between projects and a new lineup and sound was being introduced to the gospel community. In 2005 the group decided to start a new project. Due to the fact that the Godchild Studios were in the process of moving to a new location and it would take a while to complete the move, the group started recording at Kendall Brown's Music Lab in Rochester, NY.
